Harvest Festival
It has been decided this year that instead of the traditional Harvest Supper which has always followed the service in the Church, there is to be a concert in the Church of local talent.
What this entails is entertainment provided by people from the parish for the people of the parish in the Church building, with refreshments after.
Several people have already agreed to provide some entertainment, e.g. a musical trio, dancers, people in conversation, singers and more. The event takes place on Saturday 21st September and for more information please contact Brenda on xxxxxx or Jane on xxxxxx.
There will be a Harvest service for adults with children present, on the morning of Thursday 19th September, and the Service of Harvest Thanksgiving will be held on Sunday 22nd September, at 11 am.
As this item has been hastily prepared please see the posters

which will appear around the village for more detailed information at a later date.

Norfolk Churches Trust
Annual Sponsored
Bike Ride

This enjoyable event takes place on Saturday 14th September. The aim is to raise funds to support Norfolk's historic churches of all denominations, probably the greatest collection of medieval buildings in the world. Half the funds raised goes to the Trust, the other half to the church of the rider's choice. Last year we raised nearly 500 of which St. Andrews was the principal beneficiary.
This year we need more riders, more sponsors and more money.
Apart from anything else the event is great fun.
Participation by our U.S. neighbours whether as riders or sponsors would be most welcome.
If you can help in any way or would like more details please contact Mark Elwes on xxxxxx. Fax xxxxxx.
