concert for parents and friends to conclude our work about World War Two. The children and adults have enjoyed learning songs and performing them. We even made some biscuits from a World War Two recipe book to serve after the concert.
Apart from entertaining others we have

also been entertained. We were visited by the Norfolk Music Service. A great experience for us all. As the term closes I would like to express my thanks to staff, governors, parents and most of all children for their support and kindness. I am looking forward to next term.

The last few weeks of term have proved to be just as busy as the rest of the time in school.
As usual we entered the Area Sports held at Feltwell and had a wonderful evening in glorious sunshine. We did not win as a school but we had some individual successes with Jasper Field and Cameron Smith excelling in their events. Well done boys! I was particularly proud of the way the children encouraged each other and coped with the disappointment of not winning, both very valuable qualities.
All the children are looking forward to the holiday and are preparing for next term. Our year Six children have worked very hard to prepare for their move to Methwold High School and we wish them well.
The children who are joining us in reception have made several visits and seem very much at home. We look forward to seeing them every day from September.
On the 10th of July we enjoyed our Sports evening, another first for me. The children did extremely well, the final totals for all the teams were very close but our congratulations to Fry who won the cup by a margin of two points!
Thank you to all the parents who came along to support the event and our magnificent P.T.F.A. who helped with refreshments etc.
