Northwold for their letters, cards and messages of good wishes following our recent retirement as Northwold Newsagents. We were quite overwhelmed and send our thanks and best wishes to everyone and we hope to see them again in the future.

Arthur and Rita Clarke

A special Thank you...

I write to thank very much all those who responded so well to Mrs Eyles article about poor families in the Ukraine. All the mittens, gloves, hats and balaclavas etc so generously given have been sent and additional items plus the gifts and toys contributed by pupils and friends of Northwold and Stoke Ferry Primary Schools will be going during early December. The winters in Eastern Europe are much colder than ours and the fragility of the welfare state generates a great deal of poverty. A special thanks to Pam Eyles (Well known for her ability to get things done), for organising so effectively such an overwhelming effort.
