Northwold Playground - your views?

I'm sure many of you have noticed how many storks have been dropping bundles of joy in the village over the last couple of years!
With this in mind we thought now is the time (again!) to start thinking about the facilities we have got for the youngsters in the village. Lots of people have worked really hard in the past (and still are) for Northwold.
Wouldn't it be good to build further on what's already been done? - looking especially at the playground area on the "Big Rec" - What do you think?
We need your input. Tell us what you'd like to see in a playground. Think of play areas that you like, take pictures, even make drawings of the equipment! More importantly,

take down details of who is responsible for the park. There's usually a plaque nearby which thanks all those organisations involved. This way we can contact them, find out how they did it, at what cost and hopefully learn from them.
On the financial side, there is a list of various organisations that can offer grants or bodies that will donate to this type of project. Do you know of any more? There will be a proportion of money that we need to raise so any fund-raising ideas are also welcome.
Depending on your response we can make formal representation to the Parish Council (the owners of the land), in order to get their approval in principle. After this, we can arrange an open meeting (details in next months newsletter) and have all the information properly collated.
This idea is still very much in its infancy and we are very new in organising such an effort (apologies now!). But it would be good to make the idea a reality and have the community input.
Please drop off any ideas on any aspects of this, along with your name and telephone number to either Carrie -  59 School Lane, or Eve - 26 High Street. Thanks!
