Eyes Down for a full house!
A Bingo night was held on 25th April 2003 at Whittington Church.
We would like to thank Davina Eves and Jenny Elsey for all their help in making this a very good fun evening. We would also like to thank Cis Alloway for some excellent calling and Pat Voutt for serving the refreshments.
We would also like to say a big "Thank You" to everyone who attended and made it a very enjoyable evening. We raised over 200 for Whittington Community Events.

Nigel 'Boy' Syer
We have that well known Radio and Cabaret artist Nigel 'Boy' Syer coming to Whittington Church on Saturday 26th July, so please do come along and have a really good fun evening with us.
There will be a buffet and unlimited punch included in the price of the ticket. This is an un-missable event, so do come along. It is sure to be a very entertaining evening (see advert on front page for ticket details).

Picture poser
Mr Bryan Cater has very kindly loaded us this picture of the "class of 1936" at Northwold School.
We're not sure how it will print in Village Life, but here goes anyway!
Can anyone put some names to faces? - or tell us if you want us to "zoom in" on any area - we'll try to fit it into next month's issue.

The picture is credited to "The Scholastic Souvenir
Co. Ltd, Blackpool." - a very official title.
So Bryan, which one is you! (1936, that'd make you at least 72?). Ed.
