This half term we have said our goodbyes to Reverend Nigel Tuffnell who attended a special assembly. We presented him with a card signed by us all which was made in the shape of St Andrew's church and some fairly traded wine to drink when he settles in to his new parish. Staff, governors and children appreciated his ministry in this school and we shall miss him.
The builders have left the site and we have moved in to the accommodation upstairs in the school house. It has provided us with much needed storage and office space and helped us to make better use of the ground floor.
One of our pupils Athena Graham in Year six continues to improve on her own performance with the Lynn Warriors swimming Team. Her achievements are to be commended when seen alongside her grueling training schedule and commitment to all aspects of school work. Well done Athena!

Inside this issue:

We have all been busy preparing for the Carnival at Tots.
Please look out for us in the parade, and support our "Name Game" stall on the Carnival field. The proceeds of this will go towards the Village Hall restoration fund, as this is where we meet each week. We hope that in the future we will have bigger storage facilities so that we can invest in some special toys for the children.
If you care for a child 0-4 years of age, and would like to come to Tots & Co., we meet at Northwold Village Hall every Friday in term-time, between 9.30am and 11.30am. Cost is 1 for one child + adult, which includes refreshments. The

This has been a very brief but nevertheless hectic half term. We are pleased to welcome Mrs. Maria Uragallo to the permanent teaching staff and Mrs. Joy Potter who is with us for the Summer term.
After a glorious Easter holiday the school term started with some unsettled weather. Our May Day celebrations were somewhat damp but immensely enjoyable. The children performed their dances beautifully and it was a pleasure for the adults to participate in the festivities. We are very grateful to Mrs. Brenda  Ayres who decorated the May King and Queen's thrones and to Mrs. Jenny Langley who served us with much needed refreshments after the dancing.
