A message from the Eco- council...
Does anyone have any old mobile phones, batteries, ink cartridges or do you know anyone who has any of those things? If you do we would  ask you to please send them in to school  because we are re-cycling them.
The eco-council is trying to protect the environment so this is a better world. Thank you.

Holly Day (Class Two)

Tots & Co.
We have had a quiet half term at Tots & Co, after all the hectic activities for Christmas. Thanks to all those who have turned up on some very cold Friday mornings. We shall start the second half of the term with lots of new plans. Firstly, we will be having a fundraising event on Friday March 7th, 9.30am till 12.30pm. This will be a visit from the Orchard Toy people again, and this time they are having a sale! Lots of good games and puzzles at very good prices. Everyone is welcome. We shall also be collecting orders for "Chocolates for Chocoholics", to be delivered in time for Easter. Please feel free to drop in and support us.
The next time the Health Visitor will be visiting is Friday 7th March.
Please remember that we meet on Friday mornings between 9.30am to 11.30am and we are open to all parents/carers with children under the age of 4. Your first session is free, and after that 1 for you and your first child, and 50p for

subsequent children. We try and do a craft activity in the first half of the morning, followed by a drink and biscuit, and lots of free play for the children. It is great to socialise, whatever the age of your child.
For more details please free to contact me on 01366 727425.

Rebekah Chilvers - Competition Win

Just after Christmas, Rebekah was invited by Betty Akers to enter a competition run by Christian Aid. In it, she had to answer a number of questions and then draw a picture of what she thought Christian Aid was. She and her parents had forgotten about this until Saturday, 15th February when she received a parcel containing a letter which informed her that she was one of the winners. Her prize was 6 bars of Fair Trade chocolate and some chocolate coins. In addition, her entry will soon be appearing on the internet - if you wish you will be able to see it at:
