The football tournament was an event that caused me some anxiety as I had never before participated in this event and was particularly anxious as any host might be. My anxieties were unfounded as the whole event ran like clockwork. There was a tremendous team effort from the players and from all the staff as well as those working as volunteers to make the event run smoothly. Thank-you to all those who contributed to the success of the event. Congratulations to Ryan Hood who was awarded our player of the tournament trophy.
The winners of the handwriting competition were Harriet Shorthose in Class One, Holly Day in Class Two and Holly Garrod in Class Three. Well done to those children and thank you to Swaffham Rotary Club who provided the prizes of Gift vouchers.
