Northwold Little
Normans Pre-School

pre-school. Fee collection will now be the responsibility of the newly appointed manager, Tina Billmen.
The Annual Dinner Dance was very well supported and tickets went like hot cakes. By the time this goes to press we will have had our "Night At The Oscars" and probably still be suffering from our "Morning After The Oscars!! We must say a very big thank you to the group of people from Tots & Co and the Northwold Pre-school who organised this event and to everyone who supported it. We will try to get some photographs for the December issue of Village Life and a list of Prize Draw winners.
Our next fund raising event will be a Hall of Stalls at Northwold Village Hall on Saturday 9th November (2-4pm,

see front cover for details). We are giving you the opportunity to do your Christmas shopping - without the headache! Stalls will include Emma Martin with giftware, xmas decorations and wooden toys, Usborne Books, Orchard Toys, Chris Darlow with her Forest Folk, Dough-Re-Mi cards and giftware, Silver Jewellery, Children's Clothes and Julia Thomas with gifts etc... Come and enjoy a free cup of tea and a chance to shop without the hassle.
Finally, we will be appointing a new committee at our AGM, which will be held at 7.30 pm on Thursday 14th November in the Pre-school. All parents/carers are welcome to come along and we would love to see some new faces.

Inside this issue:

come along and have a look. The representative will be there from 10am to 12.30pm.
Wednesday 13th November at 8pm will be our A.G.M., which this year we will be having at the Crown Public House. On Friday 15th November we will be supporting Children in Need - hopefully the Tots will be coming along with their teddy bears to enjoy some pudsey shaped biscuits. At about this time we will also be starting our preparations for Christmas - for our party on the 13th December, and for our tree at the Festival in the Church. Finally, on Friday 29th November, the "mums" night out will be at Strikes in Kings Lynn.

Many thanks go this month to those who have donated toys to our group, and those who have helped us in any way. We raised 50 at our Usborne Book Party, and 12 at our children's clothes sale.
Remember, we meet at the Village Hall every Friday during Term Time, from 9.30am to 11.30am. On the first Friday of every month the Health Visitor holds a clinic, and the Nursery Nurse who supports the Health Visitor will be visiting on the third Friday of every month. Tots & Co.
November is going to be busy for Tots & Co. On the 1st November, many of us parents will be enjoying  "A Night at the Oscars", and hoping to win some of the excellent prizes in our Grand Draw. Watch out for incriminating photos of the event soon! Many, many thanks to all of you who have supported this event in some way.
On Friday 8th November, we will be having an Orchard Toy Party at our regular weekly meeting in the Village Hall. Again this will help us to raise funds for our group. If you are interested in buying excellent value children's toys for Christmas, please
