Forget Me Not Club Northwold Forget Me Not Club held it's annual Harvest Festival, with guests from Stoke Ferry. A lovely service was taken by Reg and Mary Rose, followed by tea and an auction of produce which made £60 for Club funds.
Village Hall As next year's fund raising effort, Northwold Village Hall Committee will run an "Our Village in Bloom" weekend on 30-31st August, with gardens open, sales, displays, games and similar small events round the village. A Treasure Hunt will also take place. Ideas of offers of help to the Committee please.

Mittens Thank you for the ten pairs of mittens entered in the produce show. These gifts, with others, will be sent, in mid October to a village in the Ukraine. The parcel at present contains 35 pairs of mittens; 10 hoods; 23 matching sets of mittens and hoods; 3 ear bands; 1 pair of adult gloves; 1 pair adult finger-less mittens and six items of knitwear for babies. There are still more to come. Having sent one parcel in the Spring we can hope there will be few cold fingers in the village this winter. It is a wonderful achievement and everyone who has helped should be pleased with the effort. Please accept my thanks on others behalf.
