puzzles etc, but also the opportunity to sit down and have a cup of tea too! Watch out for the posters giving further details.
We are pleased to confirm that our post of part time manager has now been filled, with Tina Billmen taking up this role from the beginning of October. There had been some delay whilst we awaited authorisation from the charity commission, and this has now been received. The appointment will relieve the committee from a lot of day to day responsibility and hopefully make it easier to find a new Chair person, Secretary and Treasurer.
We will be appointing a new committee at our AGM, which will be held at 7.30 pm on Thursday 7th November in the Pre-school. All parents/carers are welcome to come along and we would love to see some new faces.
We will also be asking parents/carers to offer their help on 4th October from 4.30 pm onwards when we hope that as many people as possible will join in helping to carry out much needed maintenance work at the pre-school. If you are handy with a paint brush or can put up shelves, or even if you have a little spare time to clean a few toys we would be grateful to receive your help.
We continue to have a full register of children and now operate a waiting list. Therefore, if you are planning to send your child to the pre-school please ensure that they are registered as soon as possible in order to secure a place. Just a quick reminder that our half term is from Monday 21st October to Monday 28th October inclusive, returning to pre-school on Tuesday 29th October.

Tots & Co.
What, where, when?
Tots & Co. meets every Friday morning during term-time, at Northwold Village Hall between 9.30am to 11.30am. Parents & carers are welcome to bring babies and toddlers along - come and play with the toys, use up all that energy, have a coffee and meet new people. The cost - 1 - a bargain!
Thanks
To everyone who has donated toys to our group recently - the children love them. We are also grateful to the ladies from the church who have been coming along to make our drinks, and to the Village Hall Committee for continuing to let us store our equipment.

Our Autumn term is now well underway and the topics for this term are the Jungle and Harvest. The children have already enjoyed taking part in the Northwold Produce Show, entering some wonderful pictures, and also in the village harvest festival celebrations.
A big thank you must go to everyone who helped to organise or attended the Demonstration and Instruction on Life Saving First Aid on Children, and particularly to Donna Roberts for all her hard work. Not only was it a very informative and enjoyable evening but it also helped to raise 124.00, providing valuable funds for the pre-school.
Organisation of the Annual Dinner Dance and Prize Draw is now in full swing. This year the theme will be "A Night At The Oscars" and will be held at the Comfort Inn, Northwold on Friday 1st November from 7.30 pm to 1 am. Tickets are already being reserved, so if you want to be guaranteed a good night out please make sure you reserve yours with either Tina Billmen or Caroline Whiting. Fancy dress is optional, so here's your chance to be Nicole Kidman or Robert Redford for the evening!!! We have some wonderful prizes for the raffle including a DVD player, 40 Marks & Spencer vouchers, Food and Craft Hampers and lots more, so please support the pre-school and Tots & Co by buying some raffle tickets if you can.
We will also be holding a "Hall of Stalls" in the village hall on Saturday 9th November, giving you the opportunity to do your Christmas shopping on your doorstep. Not only will there be the chance to buy special gifts, books and children's
