Fabulous Success!
On July 26th, the Whittington Community Events Committee held an evening of family entertainment at Whittington Church.
The professional artists were Norfolk comedian Nigel "Boy" Syer and London Songstress Louise Taylor.
What an evening! The whole audience thoroughly enjoyed the fun and laughter generated by Nigel's brand of humour. How lovely it was to see and hear the church filled with people having a good time.
When Louise Taylor took centre stage, she enthralled everyone with her beautiful singing voice. One minute we were all tapping our feet

and singing along and the next, we were spellbound and transfixed by her stunning performance -  surely this young lady is destined to become a Star of the future.
Unlimited Punch and soft drinks were served throughout the whole evening and during the interval a lavish buffet was enjoyed by all.
Good food, Good drink and good entertainment - the recipe that provided a  WONDERFUL EVENING!
The event raised approximately 250 for Church amenities and future events. The Committee sincerely thank all who supported this event and commiserate with those who didn't,- you missed a FABULOUS EVENING!

Phoenix from the ashes

My name is Debbie Harwood-Brown, and along with my husband and 2 dogs we live along Methwold Road. I studied in beauty therapy from September '90 to June '93 at West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds. The qualifications I gained from there enabled me to become employed as a beauty therapist at Center Parcs at Elveden. I still work there at present, assisting in the running of one of the largest spas in the country.
Over the years I have also gained the qualifications of Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Indian head Massage, Thermular Auricular Therapy, (The use of Hopi ear Candles) and more recently Gel nail systems.
On the 4th April '02 we unfortunately had a fire at Center Parcs which meant closure of the business for just over a year. During this time I have focused on starting business on my own, along with helping out a friend to cover some of her clients on maternity leave.
I offer both beauty and holistic treatments travelling in a small area, but I am particularly keen for clients to come into the more professional environment of my salon. For more information on the services that I offer or for some advice please call 728212. Introductory offer 10% off first treatment.
